Service Scope

Smart Move Italy provides independent assistance to help you obtain an Italian tax identification number (codice fiscale). We are not affiliated with or acting on behalf of the Agenzia delle Entrate or any government authority.

Required Documents

Processing begins only once we have received all required documents at our offices in Italy:

• A correctly notarized power of attorney (one per applicant)
• A valid apostille attached to each power of attorney

Processing Times

• Standard service: 7 to 10 Italian business days
• Expedited service: Within 5 Italian business days (additional fee applies)

Timelines begin upon receipt of complete and correct documentation and exclude Italian public holidays.

Delivery

Your codice fiscale will be issued electronically via email. No physical card will be mailed, as this is standard practice in Italy. Once issued, it is officially registered with the Agenzia delle Entrate.

Accuracy & Corrections

Please review your codice fiscale upon receipt. If an error occurs due to the issuing authority, we will request a correction free of charge. Timing for corrections depends on the authority.

No Guarantee

While success rates are high, issuance is not guaranteed. Government policies and procedures may change without notice and are outside our control.

Fees

The service fee includes application assistance only. It does not include:

• Courier or shipping fees
• Notarization or apostille costs
• Taxes or third-party fees, if applicable

Non-Refundable

All fees are non-refundable once the process has begun.

Client Responsibility

You are responsible for providing accurate information and properly prepared documents. Delays caused by incomplete or incorrect submissions are not our responsibility.

Limitation of Liability

Smart Move Italy is not liable for delays, errors, or decisions made by government authorities, or for changes in law or policy. Our role is limited to assisting with the preparation and submission of your application.

Payment Options

I understand that I am subscribing to A New Life in Italy and that there are several payment options.

If I opted for the payment plan, I agree and understand that I will be obligated to pay for the full year's subscription, charged over three equal consecutive installments. This will continue on renewal unless cancelled within the terms of this agreement.

If I opted for the annual subscription, I agree that I will be billed every year on the anniversary of the date that I joined the membership, at the same grandfathered price I joined for, regardless of future price increases, until I make changes to my account.

If I opted for the three-payment option, I agree that I will be billed over three months and will again be billed on the anniversary of my join date at my grandfathered price, regardless of future price increases, until I make changes to my account.

Email Communications

I understand that I will be subscribed to Smart Move Italy's email list for the purpose of communicating with me about this product purchase, and that I can unsubscribe from the membership and/or emails at any time.

Refund Policy

There is a seven (7) day money-back guarantee, calculated from the date and time of your initial inscription. After seven days, the fees are non-refundable. All products are digital and therefore non-refundable after this window.

Cancellation

Membership cancellations may be submitted at any time but require 10 days' written notice prior to the next billing date. To cancel, email ciao@smartmoveitaly.com.

Smart Move Italy offers educational courses, workshops, digital products, and support programs designed to assist individuals in understanding and preparing for Italian visa, residency, and citizenship processes.

By purchasing or enrolling in any Smart Move Italy course, workshop, lab, or digital product — including but not limited to the Elective Residency Visa Live Workshop, ERV Lab, Residency Lab, DIY Citizenship, and Support Plus Citizenship — you agree to the following terms:

No Guarantee of Results

All content, materials, and guidance provided are based on professional experience, industry knowledge, and historical success rates. However, Smart Move Italy does not guarantee any specific result or outcome, including but not limited to the approval of a visa, residency permit, or citizenship application.

All immigration decisions are made solely by the relevant authorities, including Italian consulates and government offices, which retain full and independent discretion over each application.

Third-Party Authority Decisions

Smart Move Italy is not responsible for any decisions, actions, or outcomes determined by third parties, including but not limited to Italian consulates, municipalities, or government agencies such as the Agenzia delle Entrate. This includes, without limitation:

• Visa or citizenship denials
• Requests for additional documentation
• Delays in processing
• Changes in requirements or interpretation of applicable laws

Educational Nature of Services

All courses, workshops, and digital materials are provided for informational and educational purposes only. Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, Smart Move Italy does not submit applications on behalf of clients through these products.

By enrolling, you acknowledge that:

• You are solely responsible for your application and its contents
• You are responsible for ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete
• Participation in any course or program does not create a client-service provider relationship beyond educational support

Accuracy and Timeliness of Information

While Smart Move Italy makes every effort to ensure that information provided is accurate and up to date, immigration laws, consular practices, and administrative procedures may change at any time without notice.

• Application outcomes, including denials or delays
• Changes in laws, policies, or government procedures
• Errors or omissions by third-party authorities

Fees and Refund Policy

All fees for courses, workshops, labs, and digital products are:

• One-time payments
• Non-refundable
• Not subscription-based and not automatically renewable unless explicitly stated

By purchasing or enrolling, you acknowledge and agree that no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

By downloading and using the Smart Move Italy mobile application ("App"), you acknowledge and agree that we may collect and process personal data including, but not limited to, your email address, location data (with your explicit consent), device information, and usage analytics. This data is used solely for the purpose of providing app functionality, improving user experience, offering customer support, and delivering personalized content and services.

We may use third-party service providers such as Google Firebase, Stripe, and analytics platforms to support the operation of the App. These providers are contractually obligated to process your data only on our behalf and in compliance with GDPR requirements.

The App may send push notifications and in-app messages related to your use of our services, account activity, updates, or marketing communications if you have opted in. You can manage notification preferences through your device settings at any time.

All purchases made through the App are governed by the specific product or membership terms presented at the time of purchase, including refund and renewal policies.
